Vegetarian sweets are in high demand due to their reduced use of animal byproducts in their composition. One Pound Sweets has notices the demand for a reduction of animal products increases more and more over the years and we don’t want to let our customers down so we’ve been searching and stocking some of the best vegetarian candy available, and these include some of your all time favourites like Cadbury’s, Swizzles and the classic retro confectionary we all used to love as kids.
Vegetarian sweets are gelatine free but may contain things like milk and with around 149 vegetarian sweets we certainly have enough to fill your basket especially with our varied range including; chocolate, gummy, hardboiled and fizzy sweets.
We don’t want people thinking that because they want to sacrifice animal products, that they have to sacrifice the sweets in their life to, their are so many vegetarian options out there so satisfy those cravings. So just because you’ve made a change to your diet choice, doesn’t mean you have to give up those tasty things in life.
One of our favourite vegetarian gummy sweets are the retro American hard gums, little fruity gums with a sugar coating. Or why not be bold with something sour and try our top bought Haribo sour sparks. Or maybe your after a bit of fizz? Then you need to try our vintage classic flying saucers filled with tasty, fizzy sherbet! All of which are suitable for vegetarians!
We almost forgot to mention, some of our vegetarian sweets offer the best of both worlds as they don’t use animal products and they’re either sugar free or reduced sugar, such as our diablo range. Who’d have thought it, one day that we’d almost have ‘healthy candy’.
